Charleston, South Carolina – Representative Nancy Mace, Lt. Governor Pamela Evette, and Attorney General Alan Wilson are all within three points of one another in the most recent poll of probable Republican voters.
Co/efficient revealed their statistics on Monday, showing Mace with 19% of likely voters, Evette with 18%, and Wilson with 16%.
Representative Ralph Norman hauled in 10%, while State Representative Josh Kimbrell received 2%.
However, the majority of voters (35%) remain unsure.
The survey of 1,094 potential Republican primary voters was conducted via text messages and phone calls on September 18 and 19.
According to Co/efficient, no candidate funded the poll. The margin of error was 3.17%.
The outcome is a remarkable reversal from when President Donald Trump shared the results of an internal survey provided by the Mace campaign in August, which showed her with a 25-17 percent lead over Alan Wilson. In that poll, Evette received 6% of the vote, while Norman and Kimbrell received 10% and 3%, respectively.
According to the poll, the top three most critical issues for South Carolinians are taxes/spending (15%), inflation (15%), and government corruption (13%).
