A Florence man was arrested Thursday following a vehicle search tied to a drug investigation, according to the Florence Police Department.
Authorities said David Mixon is charged with trafficking cocaine, trafficking crack cocaine, trafficking fentanyl and simple possession of marijuana.
Drugs and Cash Recovered During Investigation
Police were conducting an investigation in the 800 block of South Irby Street when they searched a vehicle driven by Mixon. Investigators reported recovering 28 grams of cocaine, 22 grams of crack cocaine, 20 grams of methamphetamine, five grams of fentanyl, a small quantity of marijuana and $1,665 in cash.
Awaiting Bond Hearing
Mixon is currently being held at the Florence County Detention Center and is awaiting a bond hearing.
The case remains under investigation.
