Several Lowcountry agencies, including Colleton County Fire-Rescue, Colleton County Sheriff’s Office, and Walterboro Police Department alongside USC Salkehatchie, conduct a large-scale training exercise Friday at the university’s Walterboro campus.

The drill runs 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., simulating emergency scenarios for coordination testing with heavy vehicle, equipment, and personnel presence expected.
