A fatal shooting is being investigated as a homicide in Anderson County

Anderson County, South Carolina On Tuesday morning, the coroner arrived at the scene of a shooting death in Anderson County.

Authorities were summoned to a scene on Highway 24 in Townville after a 56-year-old man was shot numerous times, according to the Anderson County Office of the Coroner.

The coroner’s office reports that they are looking into the gunshot as a homicide.

Although it is unclear if the victim was shot inside or outside the camper, the coroner’s office reported that the victim resided in a camper in the front yard of a residence on the 7000 block of Highway 24 close to Harry Davis Road.

Detectives stated that when the victim’s boss visited the house to pick him up for work, he discovered him unconscious.
