Runners traverse a beautiful blend of single track, dirt, and gravel road trail winding through maritime forests, offering a shaded, muddy, authentic Lowcountry experience.
Race headquarters is at Palmetto Bluff, with packet pickup on December 13th and race day on December 14th.
Amenities and Awards
The marathon is a cup-free race—runners must bring personal water bottles with water stations located midway and at the finish.
All participants receive commemorative long sleeve shirts if registered before December 1, finisher medals, and special Buffalo Head Awards for 50K finishers.
