On a broader highway and traffic safety front, the city benefits from state-administered grant programs that focus on DUI enforcement, traffic speed control, seatbelt use campaigns, pedestrian safety assessments, and enhanced police traffic services designed to reduce crashes and fatalities.
Mauldin also actively engages in community outreach, including hosting forums and education campaigns to build public awareness of safety measures. The city’s focus is on a multi-pronged approach combining infrastructure upgrades, enforcement, public education, and health crisis support to enhance overall public safety in 2025 and beyond.
