Free COVID-19 testing is available in Bluffton this week at several locations coordinated by the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) and local health partners. Testing continues to be provided twice weekly through partnerships with Beaufort Memorial Hospital and Bluffton Public Health Clinic.
Weekly Testing Locations
Beaufort Memorial Drive-Through Site – Free drive-through testing is offered on Mondays and Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at 4819 Bluffton Parkway, Bluffton, SC 29910. The site is managed in collaboration with the Town of Bluffton and is open to all residents without appointment requirements.​
Bluffton Public Health Clinic – DHEC-operated clinic located at 4819 Bluffton Parkway, providing walk-in PCR and rapid tests during regular business hours, 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.​
CVS MinuteClinic (Fording Island Road) – Offers free COVID-19 PCR and antigen testing for those with insurance or using federal free test programs. The address is 1006 Fording Island Road, Bluffton, SC 29910, inside CVS Pharmacy.​
Additional Resources
Residents can also request free at-home COVID-19 test kits through DHEC’s community distribution program while supplies last, expected to remain available until late 2025. For more details, visit DHEC’s testing webpage or call the DHEC Care Line at 1‑855‑472‑3432, which operates daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m..
