Home Telecom’s 2026 BCSD Art Contest marks a milestone by featuring student artwork from Berkeley County School District on a local billboard for the first time.
Overall Winners
Sophia Ligon from Philip Simmons High School took first place overall with her drawing The Common Table, which will appear on the billboard. Bella Ramos from Marrington Middle School of the Arts earned second for “Peace”ful Day at the Beach with Friends, while Arya Ekrall from Howe Hall Aims Elementary took third for Life More Colorful with Technology.

Impact and Support
The contest supports art programs with cash prizes: $1,000 for first-place departments, $500 for second, $250 for third, and $100 for honorable mentions. Over 12 years, Home Telecom has donated nearly $70,000 to Berkeley County schools.
