Charleston, South Carolina. — The South Carolina Aquarium is inviting the Lowcountry to splash into the holiday SEAson with special programs during the Christmas season.
Beginning Nov. 28, tourists can witness Santa, diving elves, Christmas dive shows including the deepest saltwater tank in North America, and more, as guests travel through galleries adorned for the season. Daily animal encounters will also allow tourists the opportunity to get up close and personal with some of the species that call the aquarium home.
Santa will be available for photographs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Nov. 29 and 30 as well as Dec. 6, 7, 13, 14, 19, 20, 21, 22 and 23.
In addition to the holiday activities, Aquarium Aglow will begin on Nov. 21, and will showcase larger-than-life installations for festive photo possibilities.
