“The Hall of Fame is about honoring the roots and people who make Charleston’s music scene what it is,” Davis pointed out. “It’s a chance to look back, celebrate the present, and inspire future generations of musicians.” The concert, now in its eleventh year, has grown into a community tradition that spans generations and genres, representing the diversity, inventiveness, and collaboration that define Lowcountry music culture.
Michael Davis, the owner of Ye Olde Music Shop and a musician, launched the Lowcountry Music Hall of Fame in 2015. Hundreds of musicians, bands, and industry contributors have been honored since its debut.
