Protection Details
The Meyer family donated the easement value, supplemented by grants from the Charleston County Greenbelt Program and South Carolina Conservation Bank, ensuring no development forever. Natalie Olson of the Land Trust praised it as safeguarding Johns Island’s rural character via public-private partnerships.
