Lincon County, North Carolina — According to authorities, a man has been charged with a spree of armed robberies at multiple establishments in Lincoln and Cleveland counties.
On September 21, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to complaints of an armed robbery at a Family Dollar at 4709 E. NC 27. Deputies say the man entered the business with a weapon and forced the two clerks to empty the registers into a plastic bag before fleeing.
Investigators found that the suspect drove a small, white SUV.
Nine days later, the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office responded to an attempted armed robbery at a Dollar General, which was followed by another armed robbery at a One Stop Sunset Food Store.
Witnesses claim that a white sport utility vehicle fled the area.
Cleveland County deputies and the Shelby Police Department were able to locate the vehicle and arrest Kashon Sentell Johnson, 27. He was accused with armed robbery with a deadly weapon in Cleveland County.
Johnson was eventually identified as a suspect in the Family Dollar armed robbery, and he is now facing the same charges in Lincoln County.
