Lexington County, S.C., authorities seized 18 illegal “Pot O Gold” gambling machines from a Gaston home on March 2, charging 51-year-old resident Walter Limann Hicks Sr. with unlawful possession/operation of gambling devices and unlawful games/betting.

The machines offered prohibited games like blackjack, keno, and poker under South Carolina law. Hicks, identified as the operator, was booked into the Lexington County Detention Center following the sheriff’s department investigation.
