Berkeley County, South Carolina — Paving operations for some roads in the Goose Creek region will begin Monday.

Lane closures will be enacted on the following routes from Monday, September 29, to Friday, October 3, between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., according to Berkeley County Government.

Red Cedar Drive, District 3
Ivybridge Court, District 5
Torquay Court – District 5
Plymouth Court, District 4
Ashton Drive, District 5
At least one lane will remain open for traffic surrounding the construction areas, and flaggers will be present to help cars navigate the work zones.

“Please adhere to all construction signs and message boards in the area, and please refrain from parking on the streets,” the county’s spokesperson stated.

The paving operation is part of two projects: the 2024 Berkeley County One Cent Sales Tax Resurfacing Project and the 2024 American Rescue Plan Act Local Roads Resurfacing Project.
