Charleston County, South Carolina – Drivers should expect overnight lane closures on I-26 this week while crews install new signs.
The Charleston County Government said that lane closures will be in effect Wednesday and Thursday evenings as new permanent interstate signs are installed near the Palmetto Commerce Parkway junction project.
There will be two westbound lane closures on Wednesday from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., and eastbound lane closures on Thursday from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
County officials confirmed that traffic control measures will be implemented. Drive carefully through the work area and obey all traffic signs.
