Charleston, South Carolina – On Thursday, Our Lady of Mercy Community Outreach will organize a Thanksgiving supper handout for needy families.
According to organizers, the meals are only available for pick-up, and to get a Thanksgiving meal, you must register by calling 843-805-8064.
The event will take place at Neighborhood House (77 America Street) in Charleston. People of all ages can enjoy the food, games, and community events available there.
Our Lady of Mercy Community Outreach announced a $15,000 grant from Comcast to serve over 200 meals to families in the Charleston area.
“We’re deeply grateful for our presenting sponsor Comcast for their $15,000 gift and for helping us bring joy and nourishment to our neighbors this season,” the group wrote.
