Firefighters in Orangeburg County responded quickly to a house fire on Sunday afternoon on Cue Street, rescued one person from inside the home, and brought the blaze under control within minutes. What happened during the fire
Orangeburg City Fire Department crews, assisted by the Cordova Fire Department, arrived at the Cue Street residence within about four minutes of the dispatch call and found that one person was still inside the burning structure. Firefighters immediately performed a search, located the person, and removed them safely; emergency medical personnel then took over care of the patient.
