Hibben United Methodist Church at 690 Coleman Boulevard in Mount Pleasant, S.C., is opening its warming shelter for overnight stays on Monday and Tuesday nights due to low 30s temperatures.

Doors open at 7 p.m. and close at 7 a.m., providing a warm place to sleep, evening meals, breakfast, bagged lunches, and showers with supplies. Guests arriving early wait outside until approved entry around 7:15 p.m., and all bags are inspected with prohibited items removed and returned later.

Transportation is available: pick-up from Mary Conway Park at America and Columbus Streets at 6:45 p.m., with CARTA returning guests downtown the next morning. The shelter activates below 34°F and is part of regional efforts including Seacoast Church in Summerville.
