Darlington County, South Carolina — The Darlington County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that one individual was hospitalized following a shooting in the Hartsville area on Friday.
According to the sheriff’s office, deputies arrived to Cherry Laurel Drive after receiving a shots-fired complaint. One individual was shot and transported to a local hospital, but their status was not immediately known.
No other information regarding the incident, suspects, or arrests was immediately available, however the sheriff’s office stated that there is no danger to the community.
