Spartanburg police are investigating a fatal shooting on North Center Street early Saturday morning, February 7, 2026, around 1:20 a.m.
Incident Details
Officers found a man with a gunshot wound to the chest in a driveway; he was pronounced dead at the scene. Witnesses reported the victim was at a nearby party where an argument over money may have preceded the shooting. Some attendees fled during the incident.
Suspect Description
No arrests have been made. One witness described the shooter as a Black man with low-cut hair, wearing a red jacket and red pants.
Investigation Status
