Spartanburg police are investigating a fatal shooting on North Center Street early Saturday morning, February 7, 2026, around 1:20 a.m.
Incident Details
Officers found a man with a gunshot wound to the chest in a driveway; he was pronounced dead at the scene. Witnesses reported the victim was at a nearby party where an argument over money may have preceded the shooting. Some attendees fled during the incident.​
Suspect Description
No arrests have been made. One witness described the shooter as a Black man with low-cut hair, wearing a red jacket and red pants.​
Investigation Status
