NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. – A distribution event is set to take place on Wednesday in North Charleston, offering hot meals, nutritional groceries, clothing, and school supplies to individuals in need. The event will be held at the Community Resource Center’s Whipper Barony Lane office.
Local Leaders Join the Event
North Charleston Mayor Reggie Burgess and State Rep. Wendell Gilliard are expected to attend the “mass giveaway,” alongside other community organizations. Their participation highlights the collective effort to support those in need within the local community.

The distribution will begin at 1 p.m. and continue until supplies are gone. Those in need of food, clothing, or school supplies are encouraged to stop by the center during this time.
