Lowe's Foods to launch Johns Island location on March 12

Lowes Foods has opened a new grocery store in Johns Island, giving residents and nearby communities on Kiawah and Seabrook Islands a fresh option for everyday shopping.

Store details and opening

The store is located at 3575 Maybank Highway, operating daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., with a special 6 a.m. first‑day opening on Thursday.
It replaces the former KJ’s Market, which was extensively renovated to fit Lowes Foods’ layout and branding.

What the store offers

Lowes Foods will stock local products from regional suppliers and provide services such as “Lowes Foods‑To‑Go” personal shopping and gas‑rewards discounts.
To celebrate the opening, the chain’s Lowes Foods S’mores wagon will be at the store all weekend starting March 13, inviting both new and returning customers in for a community‑style welcome.

This location is the fifth Lowes Foods in the Charleston area, expanding access to groceries and convenience for Johns Island and the surrounding Lowcountry islands.
