South Carolina Highway Patrol launches a multi-agency Area Coordinated Enforcement (ACE) operation from 6 a.m. March 12 to 6 a.m. March 15, 2026, across Lexington and Richland counties in the Midlands.

Targeted Roads

Focus on I-77, I-26, I-20, US-378, US-321, US-1, US-176, US-76, US-52, US-15, SC-602, SC-302, SC-60, SC-151, and SC-34—high-risk spots for fatalities.

Participating Agencies

Includes SCHP, SC State Transport Police, Columbia PD, Cayce PD, West Columbia PD, Irmo PD, Chapin PD, Lexington/Richland Sheriff’s Offices, and more local depts.
