Herd Provisions will close Charleston restaurant after nearly 7 years

Charleston, South Carolina – Herd Provisions, a restaurant specializing in farm-to-table cuisine, has announced its closure at the end of the month.

For nearly seven years, the restaurant has been serving guests in the Wagener Terrace area.

In a letter posted on the restaurant’s Facebook page, owner Alex Bradford stated that the last day of operation will be November 29, with a shift in focus to previously announced events during December.

“It has been a delight and a privilege to serve Wagener Terrace and the Charleston community. Bradford wrote, “We are deeply grateful to our customers and to our incredible, dedicated staff for your support and patronage over the years.”

Bradford did not comment on the decision to close the Grove Street restaurant; however, he stated that all Thanksgiving pre-orders and large party reservations would be fulfilled.
