Goodwill urges lowcountry families to donate Halloween costumes.

Charleston, South Carolina – Now that Halloween has passed, Palmetto Goodwill is urging families to donate their gently used Halloween costumes.

There are 33 retail establishments and a donation facility where families can send off their costumes to help transform someone’s life.

In 2024, Palmetto Goodwill served over 11,000 people and assisted in the placement of persons in 4,000 jobs throughout the region.

After the donated costumes and other items are dropped off, they will be resold. Not only does it offer the object a new life, but it also prevents rubbish from piling up in local landfills.

Community members donated almost 35 million pounds, diverting them from landfills in 2024.

Not to mention, you are assisting individuals who may be unable to afford a costume elsewhere.
