The Hanahan holiday parade took place on Saturday, December 6, 2025, starting at 10 a.m. from Hanahan High School, with hundreds attending despite rainy weather.​
Parade Route and Features
The route followed Murray Drive to Belvedere Drive and Loftis Road, then Yeamans Hall Road back to Murray Drive, ending at the high school. Festive floats, school and community groups, police, firefighters, and Santa participated, tossing candy to excited children who collected it under umbrellas.​
Community Response
Young attendees like elementary student Lizah Drumheller enjoyed the candy and seeing friends, while Hanahan Middle School student David Payne highlighted the community’s love for the event. The non-city event, organized by the Hanahan Exchange Club, proceeded rain or shine.​

Hanahan’s parks and recreation department hosts a rescheduled Christmas tree lighting and holiday vendor market on Friday, December 12, from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at the amphitheater on 3106 Amphitheater Avenue.
