Summerville, South Carolina — Crews are responding to a residential house fire in Summerville on Thursday evening.
The fire is in a home on Salteron Street, near Miles Jamison Road. According to Capt. Chris Hirsch of the Summerville Police Department, no injuries have been reported as of yet.
The scene is active, and Summerville detectives are dispatched to investigate.
The fire is thought to have been intentionally started, and authorities have arrested a suspect.
Capt. Hirsch stated that additional information about the suspect is not yet ready for release.
