The Charleston Fire Department and the Fire Marshal responded Thursday afternoon to a reported house fire on Lake Frances Drive. Crews were dispatched just after 3:30 p.m. following reports of a structure fire.
Fire Quickly Brought Under Control
Firefighters arrived on scene and quickly extinguished a small fire inside the vacant home. Authorities said the blaze was contained before it could spread further.
No Injuries Reported
Officials confirmed that no injuries were reported in connection with the incident. The cause of the fire has not been released.
