Baptist Hill High School in Hollywood provides students with numerous career and technology education choices.
The school offers the district’s only barbering program, as well as construction, digital multimedia, Army JROTC, biomedical engineering, and business education courses.
According to Principal Brion Rutherford, the recently released school report cards show that Baptist Hill High School made academic advancements, and the school’s College and Career Readiness numbers are among the highest in Charleston County.
He claims that students are learning concrete skills, obtaining industry certifications, and gaining confidence that extends beyond the classroom.
