AVM Group Announces New Headquarters in Charleston County
AVM Group has announced plans to establish its national headquarters in Charleston County. The company will invest around $5 million into the project, showing strong confidence in the region’s future.
The new headquarters will be built on Wingo Way in Mount Pleasant and will cover approximately 12,000 square feet.
New Jobs and Economic Growth
This development is expected to create around 30 new jobs. These roles will support key functions such as:
- Design and engineering
- Research and development
- Project planning for specialised construction

Focus on Innovation and Specialised Construction
AVM Group is known for building controlled environments, which are highly specialised spaces used in industries like healthcare, defence, and technology.
Their work includes:
- Cleanrooms
- Dry rooms
- Secure facilities for sensitive information
- Shielded environments for advanced equipment
The new Charleston headquarters will play a major role in designing and developing such advanced facilities.

CEO Trip Textoris shared that the new headquarters will focus on sustainability and environmental care.

In addition, the project will include public features like a walking trail and a small park, offering benefits to the community.
Support from Local Leadership
Mount Pleasant Mayor Will Haynie welcomed the project, saying it brings quality jobs and thoughtful development to the area.
The project has also received support from the Coordinating Council for Economic Development, which approved job development credits and provided a $200,000 grant to help with construction and site preparation.
Operations Expected by 2027
The new headquarters is expected to become operational by 2027. Once ready, it will serve as a central hub for the company’s leadership and innovation efforts.
It will also support operations at AVM Group’s existing facility in Ohio.
