A fatal two-vehicle crash occurred on January 17, 2026, at approximately 1:55 p.m. at the intersection of S.C. 903 and Mt. Pisgah Road in Kershaw County, South Carolina. A southbound 2025 Chevrolet pickup truck collided with a westbound 2013 GMC Terrain, resulting in the death of the front-seat passenger in the SUV.​

The GMC Terrain carried a driver, front-seat passenger (who died), and backseat passenger. The Chevrolet had a driver and passenger. No other injuries were reported, and seatbelt usage remains unknown.​
