According to the Rock Hill Herald, Mitchell Strickland pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter in Steven Stowe’s May 2024 death.
Following the shooting, authorities in North Carolina arrested Strickland and his wife.
An accessory allegation against his wife remains pending.
