A pedestrian died after being struck by two northbound vehicles on Two Notch Road in Richland County, South Carolina, near the Village at Sandhill shopping center and Fashion Drive intersection. The South Carolina Highway Patrol reported the collision occurred around 5:40 p.m. on Saturday, December 6, 2025, shortly after sunset at 5:14 p.m., with the pedestrian pronounced dead at the scene. Neither the driver of the 2022 Toyota SUV nor the 2024 Dodge pickup truck sustained injuries, and no other injuries were noted.​

The Richland County Coroner’s Office has not released the pedestrian’s identity pending family notification. The Highway Patrol continues to investigate the cause, including potential factors like darkness, with no information yet on seatbelt use by drivers or why the pedestrian was in the roadway.
