A man was allegedly discovered in a motel with fentanyl, cocaine, meth, and a loaded firearm, according to the NCPD.

Calestro Bernard Frazier, a 23-year-old man, was arrested late Monday night, March 3, 2026, at the North Charleston Lodge on Ashley Phosphate Road during a burglary investigation, facing charges of fentanyl trafficking (14g+), methamphetamine distribution, possession of Schedule I/II narcotics, and possession of a firearm during a violent crime.

Incident Details

North Charleston Police reviewed security footage showing three people entering/exiting a single-guest room, prompting officers and management to order occupants out just before midnight. Frazier repeatedly reached for his pockets/waistband, discarded three plastic bags—testing positive for cocaine, fentanyl, and meth—into the pool area, then admitted to a loaded handgun in his pants.

Detention

He was booked into Al Cannon Detention Center as the probe continues, highlighting motel crime issues in the area.
