A Greenwood man will serve almost 50 years in jail for a shooting that killed one person and injured several others about three years ago.
According to the 8th Circuit Solicitor’s Office, Ahmad Evans, 23, opened fire with an AR-15 on a group of persons at the Village at Glenhaven Apartments in Greenwood in late September 2022.
The gunshot killed 25-year-old Jamison Hall and injured several others. Evans has been convicted guilty of murder, attempted murder, and a weapons offense. He was sentenced to 45 years in prison, with no possibility of early release.
