The Wando High School Marching Band is gearing up for its highly anticipated return to the Bands of America Grand Nationals Competition this fall. This marks their first appearance at the prestigious event in four years, according to band leaders.
Hard Work and Dedication from Students
The band, composed of 180 students from both high school and middle school, will dedicate over 200 hours of preparation to represent their school, Mount Pleasant, and South Carolina on the national stage.

The Bands of America Grand Nationals is one of the largest and most respected marching band competitions in the country, with over 100 bands from across the U.S. participating each year. This year’s event will take place November 13-15 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, where the best marching bands will compete for top honors.
