Mount Pleasant, South Carolina – Veteran’s Day is next week, and two Lowcountry businesses are offering meaningful ways to support our local veterans.
T.D. McMurry, an elevated men’s business located at 320 W Coleman Boulevard in Mount Pleasant, will donate 15% of its earnings to the Warrior Surf Foundation on Monday, November 10 and Tuesday, November 11.
The Warrior Surf Foundation is a local non-profit that provides surf therapy, yoga, and camaraderie to veterans dealing with mental health issues.
Melvin’s BBQ, which has sites in Mount Pleasant and James Island, is also giving back. All veterans and active-duty military people who visit the restaurant on Veterans Day, November 11, will receive a complimentary Little Joe sandwich.
Customers must present a military ID to obtain the Melvin’s offer.
