At its July 2 meeting, the Kiawah Island Ways and Means Committee approved the replacement of standard dog waste bags with compostable ones, following a recommendation from the Kiawah Goes Green Committee.
The Committee also authorized the replacement of 38 dog waste dispensers that were damaged during last year’s Nor’easter. Installation will begin once the compostable bags are delivered to the Town.
