Around 9:42 p.m., suspicious individuals entered the restaurant, exited to the rear, and gunfire followed, with shell casings recovered and a silver vehicle fleeing; no injuries occurred but property was hit. This ties to murder victim Kymani Baker, an employee who was present but did not fire back.

On February 17, 2026, authorities charged 18-year-old Nicholas Marcella Jaiden Goff of North Charleston, 19-year-old Cam’ron Da’Nadrick Simpson, and an unnamed juvenile with attempted murder; the juvenile also faces a weapons charge.
