Clover Police alerted the owners after a Good Samaritan spotted flames; Clover and Bethel Fire Departments traced it to a cigarette butt in a flower pot at 1166 Highway 55 E. No injuries occurred, and the restaurant stayed operational despite past incidents like a car crashing through the door.
