The new Chick-fil-A Bees Ferry location in West Ashley features a dual-lane drive-thru with cow-themed freebies.

West Ashley’s new drive-thru is now open. Chick-fil-A Bees Ferry debuted on November 6 at 6 a.m., bringing a tech-forward setting to an ever-growing area. Chick-fil-A’s expansion into dedicated mobile lanes and multi-lane drive-thrus reflects the company’s commitment to meeting ongoing demand.

The standalone restaurant, located at 1000 Floyd Drive, is open Monday through Saturday from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. (closed Sunday). Our services include dine-in, carry-out, delivery, catering, and a new mobile lane for app orders. Plans for Bees Ferry included a dual-lane drive-thru, patio seating, and adequate parking to improve traffic flow during peak hours.

The location is on a prominent intersection near West Ashley Circle in a retail complex anchored by Walmart. A commercial brief relates the project to an outparcel at Floyd Drive, West Ashley Circle, and Bees Ferry Road, with an absolute NNN ground lease that starts in late August 2025, coinciding with the fall opening.

Local ownership is important here. Megan Jacques, a long-time operator and Charleston local who also runs the nearby Ashley Crossing restaurant, will head Bees Ferry. Chick-fil-A, Inc. donated $25,000 to Lowcountry Food Bank and created about 100 local jobs on opening day. Guests dressed in cow-themed clothes also received a “Cows Eat Free” special.

Early reviews on MapQuest/Yelp compliment nice service and a drive-thru setup that prevents spillover. Restaurantji has a 3.9/5 rating from seven submissions as of Nov. 18, with opinions still forming as traffic increases. The location offers Wi-Fi, breakfast, app-based ordering, and Chick-fil-A One points. What do you think? Will you try Bees Ferry’s Mobile Thru or stick to the usual lanes?
