Berkeley County, S.C. — A 34-year-old woman, identified as Sarah Alexander from Moncks Corner, tragically lost her life in a traffic incident on Ranger Drive in Cross, South Carolina, on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Berkeley County Coroner’s Office.

The Incident

Coroner Darnell Hartwell responded to the scene shortly after 2:10 p.m., where Sarah Alexander was found to have suffered fatal injuries. She was pronounced deceased on the scene.

Several emergency responders were on site, including Central Berkeley Fire & Rescue, Moncks Corner Rural Fire & Rescue, Berkeley County EMS, the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office, and the Berkeley County Emergency Management Division.
