Summerville, South Carolina – A motorcycle officer from the Summerville Police Department was involved in an accident Friday afternoon.
Officials say incident happened around 1:15 p.m. on Berlin G Myers Parkway and Grandview, near the Sonic Drive-In.
The officer was rushed to a local hospital with unknown injuries, but News 2 was told he is alive and talking.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating. There are minimal details.
