Ruby was arrested by North Charleston police on Tuesday for stealing copper wire.

North Charleston police arrested Aimee Michelle Becker, 45, of Summerville, for allegedly stealing copper wiring from a Ruby Tuesday restaurant on Northside Drive. The incident was discovered on January 31 during a foot patrol when officers found two homeless individuals in an unlocked storage area and noticed tampered electrical panels nearby.

Incident Details

A hotel employee reported seeing non-guests remove copper wire from the panels and load it into a vehicle, with surveillance footage showing the wire taken to a hotel room. Four people received trespass notices, and further investigation identified Becker as a suspect; she was booked into Al Cannon Detention Center on Tuesday and charged with damage to property while stealing metals.

Other Suspects

Benjamin Shaffer was previously arrested in connection with the theft. Police are still seeking Michael David Prosecky, 45, of North Charleston, and Sharnise Letitia Cook, 35, of Summerville, with more arrests possible.
