Ritter road accident injures one.

A 23-year-old Hendersonville resident was seriously injured in a high-speed, single-vehicle accident on Ritter Road on Saturday, November 15th. The westbound Chevrolet Suburban failed to negotiate a curve, crossed onto the eastbound shoulder, and collided with an oak tree. The Suburban was heavily damaged. The driver did not wear a seatbelt and sustained multiple serious injuries. Colleton County Firefighter-Paramedics responded and began treating the patient on the scene. CARE Flight was dispatched to the field behind Fire Station 25 on White Hall Road and transported to the Trauma Center at MUSC, Charleston. The MVC is being investigated by the South Carolina Highway Patrol. The Sheriff’s Office assisted on the site.
