Police in North Charleston have arrested a guy on various narcotics counts.

North Charleston police arrested 28‑year‑old Kyrique Terrell Wilson on March 5, 2026, in the Chicora‑Cherokee neighborhood after a narcotics operation uncovered multiple drugs and a firearm.

Charges and what officers found

Wilson was charged with trafficking cocaine, trafficking cocaine base, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, unlawful possession of a firearm, and two counts of possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime. He was also held on two active warrants for possession with intent to distribute cocaine base and marijuana.
Officers first saw him sitting in a vehicle holding a marijuana cigarette; the smell of marijuana and a digital scale with green plant material led them to obtain a search warrant for the nearby apartment.

Evidence recovered

Inside the apartment, officers found several grams of white powder and an off‑white rock‑like substance (both testing presumptive for cocaine), plus additional cannabis and another digital scale with residue from both cocaine and marijuana.
They also discovered plastic baggies containing green plant material and white‑powder residue, a gun in the bedroom closet, and more grams of white powder in a brown bag on the front passenger seat that tested presumptive for cocaine.

Wilson was booked into the Al Cannon Detention Center, and the case remains active as the legal process moves forward.
