The October 2nd Sunday event on King Street has been cancelled due to major coastal flooding in the area over the last few days.
Organizers said that in order to keep everyone safe and dry, and to allow those working to clean up after the flooding downtown to do so without being hampered by increased foot traffic, King Street’s monthly closure to vehicles has been canceled for October 12.
Organizers said the monthly tradition will return on Nov. 9.
