North Charleston, South Carolina – Police are investigating a shooting that occurred early this morning at a North Charleston apartment complex.
Police responded to reports of a shooting at Alston Arms Apartments at 3:28 a.m. Thursday and discovered a casualty when they arrived, according to an incident report.
According to the report, witnesses informed police that the person they identified as the shooter had returned to an apartment. Police claimed they seized him after conducting a safety inspection of the flat, which revealed a woman and two children inside.
According to the story, the individual was not arrested or charged since there was no evidence linking him to the incident.
Authorities discovered a 9mm handgun and 17 rounds of ammunition in the shooting location.
There have been no arrests made.
