North Charleston, South Carolina – Three North Charleston police were lauded on Tuesday for their prompt response and arrests in connection with a September armed robbery in Mount Pleasant.
According to the North Charleston Police Department, officers Schuessler, Aratan, and Clement noticed a rental vehicle around 6 p.m. on Sept. 4 that was reportedly linked to an armed robbery in nearby Mount Pleasant.
Police conducted a traffic stop on the car near Dorsey Avenue and Surprise Street. Both suspects were caught, and after a search, law officials discovered things thought to have been stolen during the previous crime.
Agents seized a weapon and a considerable amount of illegal substances from the vehicle.
“Thanks to the vigilance and professionalism of Officers Schuessler, Aratan, and Clement, both suspects were taken into custody and formally charged with the robbery,” the Wilmington Police Department said.
