James Island, S.C. – One driver was taken to the hospital on Saturday following a single-car crash on Dills Bluff Road in James Island, Charleston police confirmed.
Crash Details
According to Sgt. Terry Cherry of the Charleston Police Department, the driver’s injuries were not life-threatening. Authorities responded to the scene and closed part of the roadway to assist the motorist and investigate the crash.
Vehicle Flipped Over
Photos from the scene show the car flipped over on its side. No other injuries were reported, and the roadway has since been reopened.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation. Authorities are reminding drivers to stay safe on the roads, especially in areas where accidents have recently occurred.
